Health and Safety Policy

1. Introduction

1.1 Alloc8tor Ltd ("the Company") is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and anyone affected by our activities. This Health and Safety Policy outlines the Company's commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace.

1.2 This policy applies to all directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, visitors, and any other parties acting on behalf of Alloc8tor Ltd ("Covered Persons").

2. Policy Statement

2.1 The Company is dedicated to:

  a) Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all individuals affected by its operations.  

  b) Complying with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.

  c) Continuously improving health and safety performance through risk management, training, and consultation.

2.2 The Company recognises that the successful implementation of this policy requires the active participation and cooperation of all Covered Persons.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 The Company's responsibilities include:

  a) Providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including safe systems of work, equipment, and facilities.

  b) Identifying and assessing workplace hazards, and implementing appropriate control measures to eliminate or reduce risks.

  c) Providing relevant health and safety information, instruction, training, and supervision to all employees.

  d) Consulting and involving employees in matters affecting their health and safety.

  e) Establishing procedures for reporting and investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and taking appropriate corrective actions.

  f) Complying with applicable health and safety legislation and regulations.

  g) Regularly reviewing and improving health and safety practices.

3.2 Covered Persons' responsibilities include:

  a) Complying with health and safety policies, procedures, and instructions.

  b) Taking reasonable care for their own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of others who may be affected by their actions.

  c) Reporting any hazards, accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly to their supervisor or the designated health and safety representative.

  d) Participating in health and safety training programs and following safe work practices.

  e) Cooperating with the Company in implementing health and safety measures.

  f) Utilising personal protective equipment and following safety instructions when necessary.

  g) Engaging in consultation processes regarding health and safety matters.

4. Risk Management

4.1 The Company will identify and assess workplace hazards, including physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic risks.

4.2 Control measures will be implemented to eliminate or minimise risks, and regular reviews will be conducted to ensure their effectiveness.

4.3 Emergency procedures and evacuation plans will be established and communicated to all Covered Persons.

5. Training and Communication

5.1 The Company will provide health and safety training to all Covered Persons, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their work safely.

5.2 Communication channels will be established to inform and educate Covered Persons about health and safety matters, including hazard notifications, safety alerts, and relevant updates.

6. Reporting and Investigation

6.1 Covered Persons must report all accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly to their supervisor or the designated health and safety representative.

6.2 Accidents, incidents, and near misses will be investigated to identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions.

6.3 The Company will maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, and near misses, as required by applicable laws and regulations.

7. Compliance Monitoring and Review

7.1 The Company will regularly monitor compliance with this policy through inspections, audits, and reviews.

7.2 Health and safety performance will be reviewed periodically to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing effectiveness.

8. Policy Review

8.1 This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its ongoing suitability and effectiveness. Amendments may be made as necessary and will be communicated to all Covered Persons.

This Health and Safety Policy is effective as of 19th May 2023 and supersedes any previous policies or statements related to health and safety in the workplace.
