1. What is the Alloc8tor Digital Invoicing system?

The digitisation of invoicing enables:

  • the secure transfer of data to and from anaesthetists to the secretarial team
  • the secure recording of procedures, charges and payments for all patients and all surgery
  • the immediate transfer of draft invoices to the secretarial team to enable speedy invoicing and fast payment
  • the integration of the invoice data capture with other procedural information to enable the Alloc8tor logbook and Alloc8tor patient feedback processes to be automated.

2. Can I use the Alloc8tor Invoicing on all devices?

It will then offer you the option to "Add to Home Screen".  This will add the Alloc8tor icon to your phones home screen just like all the other apps on your phone.

Yes.  The Alloc8tor platform has been developed as a web application accessible from any modern browser.  The URL for the live platform is https://sas.alloc8tor.co.uk

When you first login to the Alloc8tor application on your mobile phone or tablet, an alert will drop to the bottom of the screen as shown in the picture.

You can click on the share icon in the phones menu.  The share icon on an iPhone looks like this:

3. What is the procedure for generating an invoice?

  1. Login to Alloc8tor
  2. Click on the list that you have been allocated or create an allocated list
  3. Attach a patient to the list if there is not one already attached
  4. Click on the button to generate an invoice
  5. Check the details:
     • update the insurance policy number

       • review the procedure details and charges
       • add your proposed fee where shown
       • indicate whether you wish to pursue any up-lift or shortfall
      • update the logbook form with procedure information
       • click to save the changes (if you want to further edit the invoice) or,

Click to complete the invoice

You will see the list information with the button showing “View Invoice”.

This is now no longer editable by the anaesthetist and any further changes can only be made by the secretarial team.  The invoice indicator will change colour as per the status key shown here.

Note that this status key is also accessible from the menu on the application.

5. Can I switch a list that has been allocated to me to another anaesthetist?

Yes, however this is a feature that can only be fulfilled by the secretarial team to maintain list control.

Simply click on the Invoices menu item.  This will display a list of the most recent invoices, but you can then search the complete history by patient name.
